Irony

On Friday we drove our pick up truck with its little load of vegetables, tables, signs, etc. to the Potter County Farmer's Market and got behind this....

Tractor trailer of green beans...

...heading to the canning plant

....irony.

  1. I had a friend who lives near a mega planting of beans here in Potter County confiding that she'd seen all that was done to those beans and didn't think she'd be buying them any time soon!

    1. I've seen that the first step to planting a green bean field requires Roundup-ing the entire field.

  2. Hu. I've never seen anything like that before. I'd rather have fresh home grown any day though!

  3. I wonder how many green beans it takes to fill a dump truck - and how they were picked. I think I don't want to know. I'll follow you to the farmers market any day.
