Just Label It

The U.S. and Canada -- unlike Japan, Australia, and the European Union -- don't require GMOs to be labeled as such, even though 80 percent of packaged foods in this country contain genetically engineered ingredients

We are really behind on GMO labeling!  What do you think makes us so different from the countries who have done it?

  1. We have Monstanto lobbying Congress.....that's what we have.
It's pathetic that the US has laws that make it mandatory to label where your gym shoes come from, but not if your food is GMO or where it comes from.

  2. Carolyn Renee is right, big AgriBusiness lobbyists win at the expense of the people.

  3. I'm amazed that there are not Monsanto-like companies in these countries.
