Mother Nature Scoffs

I believe that Mother Nature is scoffing our feeble attempts to make maple syrup!  We need above freezing during the day and below freezing at night for the sap to flow.  Maybe tomorrow we'll get some sap.

Keep warm!

  1. Hope it stays cold for you. we have warmed up. which isn't good. My fruit trees are blooming. I just know we are going to get another snow. So we stand a chance of losing the blooms.

  2. We've had some good weather and not good weather here for sapping. Hope things work out better for you and your sapping!

  3. Thank you both. I guess the cold weather is a blessing when you don't want your fruit trees to get hit! All the maple producers are hoping that the weather doesn't suddenly turn very warm!
